Essence of Dhoba
An offshoot of the primitive tribes, we are a small caste native to Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh. Traditionally cultivators, we have also embraced more modern professions. Though our community name sounds similar to the Dhobis, researchers have not acknowledged any connection with the Dhobis.
